Bianca på Malmö International / Bianca at Malmoe International Dog Show

Tidigt upp och tidigt iväg i fullproppad minibil åkte vi mot hundutställningen i Malmö dit vi hade anmält Bianca från F-kullen för sin första officiella utställning. Väl framme mötte fodervärd Lasse upp med Bianca och efter att ha spanat in hanarna var det snart unghundstikarnas tur.

Om det var lite stress-mage eller om hon ätit något olämpligt utanför får vi spekulera i, men väl i ringen satte sig Bianca rakt upp och ner och sprutlackerade den fina röda matten som skulle ge bättre underlag att stå på än det hala golvet. Lögn var det att försöka få bort det, och nu kände man att detta var ingen bra dag ;)

Lite ovan att stå framför domare var hon och ville inte riktigt visa hur fin hon egentligen var, men ett Very Good och fin kritik fick vi nöja oss med för dagen.

Lite snabb-fotografering och så var det dags att bege sig hemåt. På hemvägen hände nästa spännande sak; vi hade stannat vid en rastplats där även ett annat par stannat för att de tyckt det rök om sin motor men inte hittat något fel och gjort sig redo att köra därifrån. Vi upptäckte att det brann från bilens underrede och hann som tur var stoppa dem att köra vidare, vi fick ut deras hund från bilen och fick dit en brandsläckare och som tur var blev det inte värre än att de fick bogsera iväg bilen, jag hoppas att de lyckades ta sig hem de 20 milen de hade hemåt!

En händelserik helg med andra ord men ett par twistar!

Early up and early away in a stuffed mini car for Malmoe International Dog Show where we had entered Bianca from our F-litter for her first official show. At our arrival we met up with Lasse and Bianca and after watching the males it was soon Biancas turn in Youth Class Bitches.

If it happened because of a stressed stomach or if she had eaten something strange outside we have to speculate in, but she felt the need to take a very looooooose dump in the middle of the ring, right on the nice red carpet. It was impossible to get away (it was really loose) and I started to feel that this day might not be one of my best.

She lacked a bit of habit to stand in front of a judge and she didn't really want to show how nice looking she really is, but she had to settle for a Very Good and nice critics today.

A quick photoshoot and it was time to head home. On the way home next exciting happening occured; we had stopped at a rest stop where another couple had stopped since they thought have seen smoke from their engine but hadn't found any problem and had gotten ready to leave. While driving by we noticed their car had caught fire from under the chassis and stopped them to let them know. We got their dog out of the car and managed to estiguish the fire with a fire estiguisher, lucky enough it didn't get any worse than that they had to get hold of a mechanic and find a way home the 200 kilometers they had left!

A full day, in other words, with a couple of unexpected twists!
